Serious about the details. Big on the celebration.
Our second-generation, family-run team brings experience, organization, and just the right energy to every wedding - creating days that feel seamless, personal, and genuinely joyful.
Experienced enough to handle anything. Fun enough to enjoy it.
Founded in 2012, our family-run company has grown into a rapidly expanding team that knows how to run a wedding beautifully - without making it feel overly serious. We bring structure, calm, and confident execution to every celebration, while keeping the energy light, supportive, and genuinely enjoyable.

Most venues rely on long rule lists and rigid policies because it’s easier for them. We take a different approach - we only use policies when they’re necessary for safety, quality, or clarity, and we stay flexible everywhere else so your wedding reflects your priorities, not a preset formula.

meet the people behind the magic.

Lori Diefenbach

Owner

Lori is the heart behind The YES and the reason so many couples get to experience their best day ever. What started as coordinating one wedding for a friend quickly grew into something much bigger - and alongside her husband Mike, she helped build The YES into the thriving, multi-venue brand it is today. She is our Gold Standard - known for her deep connection with brides, joyful energy, and ability to pivot and make everything come together seamlessly. When she’s not creating wedding day magic, you’ll find Lori soaking up time as a proud Grammie!

Mike Diefenbach

Owner

Mike is the big-picture thinker behind The YES, always focused on growth, opportunity, and the long game. With a natural instinct for business and a sharp eye for strategy, he helps guide the expansion of the company while keeping operations aligned and forward-moving. When he’s not working on the next phase of growth, Mike can be found flying commercial planes - because apparently running venues wasn’t enough.

Margo Steiner

Owner

Margo leads marketing and strategy at The YES, combining creative thinking with a strong instinct for what works. She’s known for testing bold ideas, refining big-picture strategy, and stepping in wherever momentum is needed. Curious by nature and always learning, Margo is often deep into research, analytics, or the next campaign concept - usually with a cold brew nearby. Alongside her husband Jan, she plays a key role in growing The Yes thoughtfully and sustainably, always looking for smarter ways to build what’s next.

Jan Steiner

Owner

Jan leads the daily operations of The YES, ensuring the vision and execution stay aligned as the company grows. With a sharp eye for systems and strategy, he keeps the team focused, accountable, and constantly improving - often reminding us that a little “healthy friction” is what pushes great teams to become even better. Originally from Switzerland, Jan moved to the U.S. with his wife, Margo, and now channels his love of building and organizing into growing The YES with intention (and teaching the team a bit of Swiss German along the way).

Michelle Rabon

Project Director

Michelle leads our wedding team as Project Director, keeping wedding days organized and calm from start to finish. Known internally as the unofficial “Bride’s Bestie,” she anticipates needs before they arise and keeps wedding days seamless - so couples can fully enjoy the moment. She brings both warmth and precision to every celebration, balancing thoughtful planning with confident execution. Outside of weddings, Michelle enjoys crocheting while rewatching Gilmore Girls, usually with a coffee nearby.

Kristina Gray

Sales Coordinator

Kristina gets to do one of her favorite things - meeting amazing couples and helping them envision their wedding day from the very first tour. Known lovingly as our Bride Whisperer, she has a natural way of connecting with couples and understanding their vision almost instantly. When she’s not hosting tours, she’s catching a musical or concert - and unapologetically snacking on her favorite candy, DOTS (yes, we love her anyways).

Taylor Phillips

Digital Marketing Specialist

Taylor is the creative force behind our digital storytelling, turning wedding moments into scroll-stopping content and helping couples fall in love before they ever step on the property. Known around the office as our unofficial Chief Trend Officer, she keeps our content fresh, fun, and always ahead of what’s cool. When she’s not creating, she’s hanging out with her cats, keeping the team young, and making sure we always - in her words - "slay".

Flora Dupre

Venue Manager

Flora brings calm, reliability, and heart to every wedding day. She loves helping couples feel supported and stress-free, ensuring every detail is executed smoothly and efficiently. Married to her high school sweetheart for nearly 16 years, she’s a romantic at heart and and always rooting for a great love story. Her favorite moment is seeing the couple light up on the dance floor, singing and celebrating without a care in the world because everything is taken care of! When she’s not at a wedding, she loves spending time with her hubby and kids.

Sarah Weber

Studio Manager

Sarah is the creative eye behind some of our most beautiful wedding details, helping couples bring their décor dreams to life with style and intention. What we like to call our resident "Style Icon", she loves collaborating on unique ideas and seeing each vision come together. Setting up a space and watching it come to life during the wedding is her favorite part - especially when a couple walks in and says, “This is exactly how I envisioned it.” Outside of weddings, she enjoys exploring parks with her dogs and husband or heading out for a night with friends.

Margot Carter

Studio Coordinator

Margot is always the first to arrive and the last to miss a detail, making sure every wedding looks absolutely perfect. As the girl who makes the decor for our weddings happen (and the second Margo on the team - because one just wasn’t enough), she brings each couple’s vision to life through thoughtful design, with a special love for building beautiful ceremony backdrops. Her favorite moment comes after the final touches are placed - when she steps back and pictures the couple seeing it all for the first time. Outside of weddings, she homeschools her children, serves at her church, and enjoys crafting.

Jacqui Schuberth

Wedding Coordinator

Jacqui stepped into wedding coordination and quickly realized it was the perfect fit for her personality. She describes her approach as "bossy nice" (we prefer to use the term "firm yet friendly", lol), bringing confident leadership while keeping couples calm and supported.  Known for steady communication and clear direction, she ensures every moving piece comes together smoothly on wedding day. Helping couples feel confident and taken care of is what she loves most. Her favorite moment? The first dance - when the couple locks eyes, smiles at one another and the whole room fades away.

Hannah Conway

Wedding Coordinator

Hannah brings a calm, easygoing energy to wedding days, helping couples feel relaxed, supported, and genuinely excited. With a background in communications, she loves meeting new people and hearing their stories, and she thrives on being part of such a meaningful milestone. Her laid-back presence helps keep nerves in check and the day flowing smoothly, even when plans shift. She has a soft spot for personal touches (especially pet-inspired signature drinks!) and her favorite moment is the grand entrance, when the couple walks into a room full of love and can finally exhale and celebrate.

Madalyn Lusby

Wedding Coordinator

Madalyn joined The YES because she values weddings that feel personal, not predictable. She loves helping couples bring unique ideas to life and isn’t afraid to ditch tradition if it doesn’t fit. A natural hype girl for the bride, she keeps the energy positive and supportive throughout the day. She’s a big fan of unconventional desserts (cake optional), and her favorite moment is the first dance - when the couple forgets the crowd and focuses only on each other.

Sarah Newman

Venue Coordinator & Team Lead

Sarah started in weddings six years ago as a “fun job” and never looked back. As a Team Lead, she pulls together the behind-the-scenes details that keep the day flowing smoothly and effortlessly. She loves when couples sprinkle pieces of their story throughout the celebration, and she’s known for catching the small details that matter before anyone else does. Her favorite moment is the end-of-night sendoff — when the cheers, smiles, and final photos say it all. Outside of weddings, she enjoys exploring hidden gems and quirky stops with her family.

Caroline Simpson

Venue Coordinator & Team Lead

Caroline discovered her love for weddings while planning her own and joined The YES shortly after attending a wedding at The Abbey. Now a Team Lead, she balances her weekday role as a supply chain analyst with creative, people-focused wedding weekends. She’s known for anticipating needs before they’re spoken and keeping the day flowing seamlessly. Her favorite moment is the ceremony recessional - when the couple walks back down the aisle to cheers and ringing wedding bells!

Tiffani Raines

Venue Coordinator & Team Lead

Tiffani brings contagious energy and a strong presence to every wedding day. She keeps timelines on track, the atmosphere upbeat, and every moving piece organized so couples can stay present and fully enjoy the celebration. Detail-driven and calm under pressure, she thrives behind the scenes - and her favorite moments are at the end of the night, when smiles linger and couples thank the team for helping their day feel seamless and stress-free. Outside of weddings, she enjoys camping and spending time outdoors with her husband and two children.

Hailey RUFF

Venue Coordinator & Team Lead

Hailey is known for her positive energy and detail-focused approach. She thrives on keeping team morale high and ensuring wedding days feel seamless and intentional from start to finish. A natural host at heart, she was drawn to weddings for the creativity and collaboration they bring. She loves when couples include their pets in thoughtful details, and her favorite moment is during the dinner toasts - when everything slows down and the couple can truly take it all in. Outside of weddings, she enjoys exploring Charlotte with her husband and channeling her creativity through her Etsy shop and other crafty projects.
